I got into my job because I’m a writer. Not only do I not have a marketing degree. I kind of loathe marketers. I think of them as phonies. Professionals adept at playing a good mind game. And I like to think that writers are the opposite. My favorite podcast is Six Pixels of Separation, the Twist Image Podcast, by Mitch Joel. I love most of what Mitch and his guests have to say about marketing, and I can easily listen to Mitch's voice for 40-50 minutes at a time.
